Private Intel is a fully licensed and insured Private Investigative Firm located in Sampson County, North Carolina. The license of this company is held in the name of Norman G. Smith NCPPSB #3258. Services from this company are provided to qualified citizens of the United States, but we reserve the right to refuse services for any reason.

Our services are conducted in a professional, ethical and timely manner, subject to all federal, state, local laws and ordinances. We provided a written report with supporting evidence to help illustrate our courtroom testimony. North Carolina General Statute Chapter 74C gives us the authority to conduct the services we provide. We work throughout the entire state of North Carolina and we go into other states or US territories pursuing investigations that originated in North Carolina. Private Intel does not operate outside of the United States; however, we will assist other investigative entities located in foreign countries with activities in North Carolina.

Norman G. Smith is a United States Marine Corp veteran and has eleven years of prior Law Enforcement experience. Mr. Smith is a graduate of the North Carolina Justice Academy and he is a NRA Certified Handgun Instructor. During his Law Enforcement career, he worked as a Uniform Patrolman, K-9 Handler and Narcotic / Violent Crime Investigator. Mr. Smith has arrested criminals and testified in State and Federal Court resulting in criminal prosecutions in each. For seven years Mr. Smith worked as a Special Investigator for a major insurance carrier. Mr. Smith has experience in the tracking and apprehension of dangerous criminals. Mr. Smith has numerous hours of surveillance training and he is very knowledgeable in the use of electronic devices / imaging equipment.
